The Responsibilities for the Medical Receptionist position include but are not limited to; working cohesively with all office locations, team members and providers, scheduling appointments, obtaining and verifying billing information, checking patients in and out, entering patient demographics, collecting payments, maintaining medical charts, scanning, and keeping charts organized.
The Medical Receptionist answers, screens, and routes calls, and takes messages. The person in this position processes a variety of paperwork including, but not limited to: incoming referrals, eligibility, authorizations, disability forms, incoming and outgoing faxes, Workers Compensation paperwork, Medical Records requests, and Attorney requests.
The Medical Receptionist prepares paperwork for the next business day, maintains the appearance of the lobby, and resolves patient issues.

Skills & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of experience in a medical front office setting
Intermediate to advanced communication skills; able to effectively relate via telephone and in-person to serve the needs of the patients, clients, co-workers, and visitors in a manner that is efficient and productive.
Intermediate computer knowledge and skills. Training and/or experience with computer data entry.
