Seattle Surgery Center is a free-standing outpatient surgery facility specializing primarily in orthopedics, ophthalmology and otolaryngology surgery.

Our PSR is the first point of contact for patients and their families on their day of surgery and plays a key role in developing a welcoming and professional atmosphere for our visitors and surgeons. 

Primary Duties:

  • Acts as a first point of contact for patients checking in for outpatient surgery
  • Takes patients through their registration paperwork, ensures that they have signed all necessary documents and that their chart is ready to be processed by pre-op
  • Works with co-workers to complete patient check-ins, processes patient charts and manages administrative tasks
  • Answers incoming phone calls and directs them to the appropriate departments and staff
  • Works closely with our clinical staff to communicate patient arrivals and direct check-in prioritization

Candidate Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in a registration/front desk setting
