Biography

Harry L. Teicher, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist who specializes in hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease and endoscopic procedures, including ERCP and hemorrhoid banding.

Dr. Teicher partners with his patients to achieve the best health care for them. His job is to be an avid listener, an up-to-the-minute educator, to be there whenever needed and to be as comforting a presence as possible. He believes that the patient’s job is to converse, ask questions and follow the plan if they wish. He strives to be punctual for appointments and to explain things in language that is simple to understand. He believes that being a physician is more about building trust and personal relationships than science and technology.

Dr. Teicher enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, playing music, cooking and traveling. He is interested in outdoor activities, exploring new cultures, and meeting people from different parts of the world.
