Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle, a division of Proliance Surgeons Inc., is a busy 8 surgeon orthopedic practice seeking a Medical Assistant- Certified (or registered with an additional phlebotomy license). Willing to train Athletic Trainer as well.

Include but are not limited to:

  • Chart preparation
  • Rooming patients
  • Taking vitals
  • Removing sutures and bandages
  • Application of casts and DME
  • Basic wound care
  • Ordering and stocking clinic supplies
  • Triaging patient phone calls
  • Ordering labs
  • Performing nasal swabs
  • Assisting with in-office procedures


  • WA state MA certification
  • 2 plus years working as an MA
  • Ability to take vitals and review medical histories with patients
  • Thorough knowledge of EMR
  • Ability to work in a face paced environment
  • Willingness to work in a team
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Versed in medical terminology
  • Experience in an orthopedic practice, casting and soft good application, suture removal and wound care a plus
  • Prior Nextgen experience a plus but not a requirement
