OPA is the region’s premier provider of treatment and surgery related to musculoskeletal injuries and problems.

The Physician Assistant (PA-C) will be assisting the aligned physicians in all capacities of patient care.  This will include patient care in the clinic, the outpatient operating room and in the hospital units. Our successful candidate will provide direct clinical, surgical and administrative support to the physicians, while treating our patients with respect and an emphasis on high-quality orthopedic care.  

Essential Functions:

Expectations include:

  • Seeing patients in clinic
  • Rounding on inpatients
  • Assisting with dressing and wound care
  • Injections
  • Assisting in surgery on a regular basis

Experience:

  • This position requires documented completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
  • A current Washington State Physician Assistant license
  • Candidates will ideally have 1-5 years of prior general orthopedic experience; however, new graduates will be considered
  • EPIC (EMR) experience strongly preferred
