Three Rivers Ears, Nose, and Throat (ENT) is a specialty medical practice devoted to improving the health and well-being of patients within the field of ENT. It was founded with the philosophy that patient needs come first, and the strong belief that treating individuals with dignity, respect, and compassion is vital to delivering the best care possible. 


Include but are not limited to:

  • Working cohesively with all Proliance office locations, team members and providers
  • Scheduling appointments via telephone and in person
  • Obtaining and verifying billing information
  • Check in/register patients
  • Entering patient demographics
  • Collect co-pays and payments on account in person and over the phone
  • Verify information on established patients
  • Update patient information in computer
  • Maintaining medical charts
  • Scanning
  • Keeping charts organized
  • Answers, screens, and routes calls, and takes messages
  • Processes a variety of paperwork including, but not limited to:
    • Incoming referrals
    • Eligibility
    • Authorizations
    • Disability forms
    • Incoming and outgoing faxes
    • Workers Compensation paperwork
    • Medical Records requests
    • Attorney requests
  • Prepares paperwork for the next business day
  • Maintains the appearance of the lobby
  • Resolves patient issues 
  • Accomplish other front office tasks such as records filing, faxing, opening mail, etc.
  • Assist patients with online portal access
  • Complete duties as directed by supervisor
  • Regular and punctual attendance is especially important when working in a small office and we count on every team member to help us deliver exceptional customer service


  • High School education
  • Minimum one-year Medical Reception experience (desired)  


  • Problem solving skills
  • Skill in using a computer
  • Ability to type/data entry
  • Ability to remove oneself personally from given situations, remaining objective
  • Ability to exhibit cooperation, flexibility, and provide assistance when interfacing with patients, physician and staff
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Skill in organizing and reporting information that is accurate and complete
  • Understanding of the need for and evidence of consistent respect for confidentiality
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all staff
  • Ability to prepare records in accordance with detailed instructions
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Consistency and timeliness in attendance
