Proliance Orthopedic Associates, a division of Proliance Surgeons Inc., is looking for a Patient Scheduling/Call Center professional to join our busy orthopedic practice with 4 clinics and an ambulatory surgery center.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Appointment scheduling
  • Verify and updates patient demographics
  • Collect insurance coverage information
  • Obtain medical records
  • Communicate regularly with the medical staff to ensure the appointments are coordinated and scheduled to according to office protocols

Education and Experience:

  • High School education
  • Prefer 1 year scheduling experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology


  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • General knowledge of insurance guidelines
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Skill in basic data entry
  • Excellent phone etiquette and ability to communicate effectively 
  • Ability to exhibit cooperation, flexibility, and provide assistance when interfacing with patients, physician & staff

  • Skill in organizing and reporting information that is accurate and complete
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Ability to prepare records in accordance with detailed instructions
