Three Rivers Ears, Nose, and Throat (ENT) is a specialty medical practice devoted to improving the health and well-being of patients within the field of ENT. It was founded with the philosophy that patient needs come first, and the strong belief that treating individuals with dignity, respect, and compassion is vital to delivering the best care possible. 

Essential Functions:

  • Interfaces well with patients, staff and physicians with a professional demeanor

Job Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients to our clinic and complete the check in process along with check out process at the end of visit
  • Process necessary information including chart preparation and triaging with physicians and medical assistants
  • Schedule appointments and collect demographic data, collect and verify insurance information and determine clinical information needed
  • Obtain patient medical records, lab reports, x-ray reports, hospital notes, referral information, etc.
  • Facilitate flow of patients by coordinating with medical assistants
  • Manage incoming calls and direct accordingly
  • Collect co-pays and balances on accounts
  • Accomplish other front office tasks such as records filing, faxing, obtaining authorizations and verifying insurances
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Clinic Manager


  • High School education
  • Minimum one year Medical Reception experience (desired)


  • Ability to multitask and utilize critical thinking and communication
  • Skills in using a computer and data entry
  • Skill in organizing and reporting information that is accurate and complete
  • Understanding of the need for and evidence of consistent respect for confidentiality
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, and to remain objective
  • Ability to exhibit cooperation, flexibility, and provide assistance when interfacing with patients
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all staff
  • Consistency and timeliness in attendance
