Position Summary

The Marketing Director is a multi-faceted role which includes strong marketing and business development responsibilities as well as building and maintaining relationships within our community.  This position requires considerable knowledge of the marketing and communications field as applied to the healthcare industry and in particular the physician practice segment.  You will work with the executive team, marketing committee and strategic planning committee to develop plans and tactics for the full implementation of these strategies throughout Proliance.  You will lead the marketing efforts to develop and improve Proliance Surgeons market share while maximizing the practice’s presence in the communities we serve.  Ultimately by utilizing marketing and communications expertise, this position and work will increase new patient visits to see all Proliance Surgeons and across all locations. Creativity and problem solving will be needed to identify improvements that will ensure patients perceive our processes and staff actions that make seeing our surgeons a great experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of the Marketing Director include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop an overarching marketing and advertising implementation and tactical plan for each Proliance practice to fulfill the strategies developed by the Proliance Marketing Committee and Senior Management Team
  • Coordinate all marketing activities for Proliance Surgeons in coordination with care center marketing / administrative teams and the Proliance Marketing Committee
  • Serve as the Administrative Lead of the Proliance Marketing Committee Chairperson
  • Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches
  • Develop digital strategy for Proliance Surgeons that coordinates each modality utilized, such as Google My Business, AdWords, Websites  
  • Prepare effective advertising campaigns based on market research
  • Design campaigns to communicate service offerings to patients
  • Highlight and promote physician experience, qualifications and accomplishments
  • Coordinate and participate in community events and activities
  • Maintain an excellent relationship with vendors used for various promotional activities
  • Assist in website infrastructure development and participates in content maintenance
  • Ensure tracking systems are in place to measure effectiveness of marketing activities
  • Develop yearly advertising campaign and coordinate with advertisers and graphic designers
  • Manage content writers and editors to create content, including website blogs, specialty info, video and email marketing
  • Increase the online reach of Proliance in coordination with care center programs through optimizing SEO, Google Analytics and Google AdWords
  • Develop a comprehensive social medial presence that compliments those at the care centers
  • Participate on team that oversees patient experience through patient surveys and patient engagement program
  • Oversee online review program for clinic and doctors
  • Develop collateral print materials according to branding guidelines. Manage library of materials
  • Promote branding and corporate identity initiatives
  • Work with teams to develop efficient referral capture process
  • Maintain knowledge on emerging products and services
  • Collaborate with senior executives and physicians to develop growth plans for the organization
  • Forecast, draft, implement, and oversee the department’s operating budget
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of prior experience in marketing, business development & communications
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior work experience in healthcare marketing
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications & social media
  • Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail and follow through
  • Enthusiasm for Proliance mission and business model
  • Demonstrated accountability for budget and resources
