Clinic Summary

Orthopedic Physician Associates (OPA) is Seattle’s premier provider of orthopedic services.  Our physicians and clinical staff work together to ensure that patients receive complete orthopedic care, whether surgical or nonsurgical, for problems or diseases of the bones, joints and muscles.  OPA physicians are board certified in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Physiatry and Anesthesiology and each has advanced subspecialty Fellowship training in Sports, Joints, Foot & Ankle, Spine and Trauma.  OPA Physicians are known regionally and throughout the world as leaders in their fields.  They lecture frequently, train others and develop new surgical techniques and many of the breakthrough hardware used in today’s surgeries. 


Position Summary

The Clinical Director will be responsible for oversight of the clinical and administration operations of the clinical team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains clinic, ER call and COVID screening schedules
  • Ability to set priorities
  • Ability to provide direction to others that is clear, concise and promotes efficiency throughout the clinical areas of the facility
  • Ability to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, and others
  • Assesses, plans, evaluates and ensures the implementation of the patient’s care to achieve identified outcomes
  • Provides provision of patient care daily in an organized and timely manner
  • Adheres to all facility policies and procedures
  • Participates in the monitoring and evaluation of care provided
  • Demonstrates ability to make decisions concerning facility problems
  • Oversees and works with staff on performance improvement
  • Participates in onboarding/orientation of clinical staff
  • Provides appropriate interventions related to safety issues
  • Demonstrates appropriate knowledge and competence of designated skills identified for position
  • Assigns personnel according to clinical competence
  • Ability to work with other department heads to complete functions required by the department
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by the ED




  • BSN preferred but not required. 
  • Minimum of 5 years nursing experience with prior experience in nurse management.

  • Work is performed in an office hospital and surgical environment.  
  • Some bending and stretching required.  Use of telephone is required. 
  • Manual dexterity required for use of surgical instruments, and computer keyboard.
  • Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
