Andrew James Lee, MD

Andrew Lee, MD, is a fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon at Proliance Hand, Wrist, and Elbow. His surgical practice encompasses arthroscopic, minimally invasive, and microsurgical techniques.

Dr. Lee graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his postgraduate training at the University at Buffalo, where he served as administrative chief resident. He pursued further fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Prior to joining Proliance, Lee served as an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at George Washington University where he cared for a diverse patient population including senior government officials and members of U.S. Congress. He is an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

A native of Washington, DC, Lee was personally drawn to the Pacific Northwest by its vibrant outdoor culture. He is a marathon runner, mountaineering enthusiast, and former U.S. Junior Olympian in Taekwondo.
