David Green, MD, grew up in Michigan near Kalamazoo, and went to The University of Chicago and received an undergraduate degree in Biology. He then attended Harvard Medical School and worked in bioresearch at Biogen in Boston. His father was a singer and he was always interested in voice production and head and neck conditions. After graduation from Harvard, he attended UCLA for six years of surgical training in ear, nose, and throat surgery. While attending UCLA, he gave several national medical meeting presentations and published several scientific papers on medical conditions and surgical treatment of the voice box and sinuses.
After surgical training at UCLA, he came to the wonderful Northwest to work in the South Seattle area caring for ear, nose, and throat conditions of adults and children. He is passionate about quality patient care and has been seeing patients at Proliance South Seattle Otolaryngology for over 25 years. As a part of his commitment to medical quality, he is an area physician representative for the Washington State Medical Association and is a board member of the Highline Medical Service Organization.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking with his wife Cindy, walking their Australian Shepard named Ranger, and spending time with his adult children who also live in the Northwest.
