Overview

Justin Millard, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. His practice focuses on minimally invasive and motion sparing procedure of the lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine. He performs over 250 spinal operations per year. His other areas of expertise include scoliosis, stenosis, tumors, fractures, infections, and degenerative conditions of the spine.

Dr. Millard is an attending physician at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington. In addition to his Washington state medical license, he is also concurrently licensed in California and has privileges at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and Los Alamitos Medical Center.

He received his undergraduate degree in business management from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana where he graduated with highest distinction and was elected to the Phi Kappa Phi and Golden Key national honor societies. Following Purdue University, Dr. Millard completed his medical degree at American University of the Caribbean in Sint Maarten, Netherland Antilles where he earned entry into the Alpha Omega Phi national honor society.

Dr. Millard then completed his surgical internship at University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri and Orthopedic Surgery residency at Indiana University, School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. Following Indiana University, School of Medicine, he completed a fellowship in spinal surgery at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, California. This additional training in disorders of the spine was under the direction of Dr. Hyun Bae. Cedars-Sinai is ranked #1 in orthopedic surgery in California and ranked #3 in orthopedic surgery in the Nation, according to US News and World Report.
