More than 100 golfers descended on The Home Course in DuPont on September 18th for the fifth annual Proliance Surgeons Golf Invitational. This year’s event raised $25,000 for Friends of the VA Puget Sound Fisher House.
It was a relaxing day of golf at one of the finest facilities in the Northwest, The Home Course. The format for the day was a four-person scramble with many individual contests on the course. Golfers got to experience live scoring on the golf course through Mobile Scoring and a hosted cocktail hour after golf.
Special thanks to title sponsors USI and Kibble & Prentice.
Several veterans participated in this year’s event, including Jim Martinson (center) who eagle’d a hole!

Since 2008, veteran and active duty military families have found a “home away from home” in the VA Puget Sound Fisher House. They come from all over the world, with different backgrounds and different needs but united in their love and concern for a hospitalized patient. In the house, they find peace and respite for themselves. Staff and volunteers offer care and support while donations from a generous community meet their material needs and ease the financial stress of being away from home. We’re proud to be part of that community of donors.
