Nathaniel C.H. Wingert, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstruction. His practice includes ‘routine’ primary, complex primary, and revision hip and knee replacement. He performs partial knee replacement, and offers anterior approach total hip arthroplasty. His surgical practice incorporates minimally invasive principles and up-to-date technologies including the use of computer navigation and robotic-assisted joint replacement surgeries. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American Hip and Knee Society (AHKS).

Dr. Wingert obtained his medical education at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency training at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA, where he published numerous research articles in peer-reviewed national journals and presented original work at national conferences. He completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction of the hip and knee with leading national experts at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. A native of Seattle, Dr. Wingert returned to the Northwest for professional practice, working at the Kaiser Permanente Capitol Hill Campus for several years.
