DJ Wardle, DPM, one of the founding partners of Proliance Surgeons Ankle & Foot of Edmonds, has practiced medicine in Edmonds for over 25 years. He was named one of Seattle’s top physicians in 2007 by Seattle Magazine and he was also named one of America’s Top Podiatrists by the Consumer Research Council of America in 2017 and again in 2021. Dr. Wardle trained at one of the nation’s top podiatric residency programs and has been Board Certified in foot and ankle surgery since 1992. He was chief resident at Fifth Avenue Hospital’s Surgical Residency program in Seattle, which is now the Podiatric Surgery Residency Program at Swedish Hospital. He obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 1987 from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated as one of the top five in his class. Dr. Wardle is extensively trained in reconstructive and elective surgery. He is committed to excellence in healthcare delivery and serves on a number of committees dedicated to quality assurance at the hospital level, including being appointed by Washington State’s Governor to the Podiatric Board for Washington State.

As a senior partner at Ankle & Foot of Edmonds, Dr. Wardle has created a clinical environment that stresses high-quality care along with patient participation and comfort. He and his colleagues pride themselves on exploring all options in their efforts to resolve a patient’s foot and ankle problem.

Dr. Wardle and his wife, Kimmy, live in Snohomish County. He enjoys cooking, golf, fishing, yard work, and spending time with his lively grandson.
