Overview

Megan L. Charboneau, MD, is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) with a subspecialty certification in sports medicine. She has special interest in injuries unique to the female athlete, diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, and non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal injuries of the shoulder, elbow, pelvis, hip, knee, and ankle including chronic tendon disorders. Her goal is to involve patients in their treatment plan, provide individualized care and return them back to their desired level of activity. Dr. Charboneau is one of few physicians in the area to offer TENEX – a breakthrough technology for the treatment of chronic tendon pain.

Dr. Charboneau grew up in Missouri where she completed medical school and her PM&R residency. She moved to Milwaukee, WI, to complete her sports medicine fellowship and joined the orthopedic department at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Most recently, Dr. Charboneau relocated to the Pacific Northwest to be near family and enjoys exploring the area with her husband, daughter and son.
