Overview

Prash Bremjit, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in accelerated-recovery hip and knee replacement surgery, along with the treatment of fractures using nonsurgical and surgical means. Raised in Yakima, WA, Dr. Bremjit has deep roots in the Pacific Northwest. He was accepted into Duke University at the age of 15, where he was later named to the Dean’s List with Distinction. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Washington where he was inducted into the schools Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society. In 2014, he was the sole recipient of the Codman and Harryman Orthopedic Awards.

He completed his 5 year orthopedic surgical training at the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. Following residency, he completed his fellowship training in Minimally-Invasive Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery at Rush University Medical Center (Ranked Top 5 in the country for Orthopedics by US News & World Report). He specializes in accelerated recovery protocols, computer navigation and robotic joint replacement, minimally-invasive surgery, and same-day joint replacements. Outside of medicine, you would find Dr. Bremjit spending time with his wife, daughter, and dog “Doc”. A fun fact about Dr. Bremjit is that during medical school, he used to do stand-up comedy.
