Proliance Surgeons, a leading group of independent, physician-led Care Centers, is pleased to announce that the Proliance Center for Outpatient Spine and Joint Surgery has achieved advanced certification for outpatient total joint replacement. The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) awards this Advanced Orthopaedic Certification to surgical centers that demonstrate the highest level of patient care and outcomes.
Proliance Center for Outpatient Spine and Joint Surgery is the first and only ambulatory surgery center in Washington State to receive this certification. In order to receive this certification, surgical centers must undergo an extensive self-assessment and onsite survey:
The Advanced Orthopaedic Certification program assesses an organization’s use of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines, ongoing performance improvement strategies, and an organizational infrastructure that promotes excellence. Through an onsite survey conducted by clinical surveyors experienced in the ambulatory orthopaedic setting, this program provides a comprehensive focus on transitions of care from pre-assessment through discharge and rehabilitation.
