Proliance Surgeons, Inc. was established on January 1, 2002, through the merger of Surgical Associates of Washington (SAW) and Orthopedic Consultants of Washington (OCW). OCW was founded in the fall of 1993, formed by seven independent orthopedic groups and began operations in January 1994. SAW was formed in the fall of 1997, bringing together eight general surgery centers and started operations in January 1998. Today, Proliance Surgeons has grown to over 400 providers, including more than 160 board-certified surgeons, in over 90 locations, helping more than 800,000 patients every year achieve their healthcare goals.

We are a team of independent, small business owners. Every center has a unique identity because we manage our Care Center and our patients’ care in the way we feel is best, not based on the rules of a large healthcare system. While we are all independent, we are united in our dedication to providing exceptional outcomes, personally delivered.
