Overview

Chad Bailey, MD is an ABMS Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who earned his Bachelor of Arts from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, followed by a medical degree from The University of Texas at Houston Medical School. He completed a six-year Plastic Surgery residency at the University of California Davis Medical Center, as well as a one-year fellowship in complex reconstructive and microvascular surgery at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Bailey trained under the world’s leading experts in breast reconstruction and aesthetic surgery and, as a result, specializes in cosmetic surgery and DIEP flap breast reconstruction. He will also combine or “stack” flaps to provide the optimal volume for an aesthetic reconstruction.

Dr. Bailey’s philosophy of care is patient-centered, focusing on informing his patients of all of their options so that they may consider the full spectrum of alternatives. Because of his training, Dr. Bailey is able to offer many different alternatives that may not be available to patients elsewhere, especially breast cancer survivors.

Dr. Bailey serves as clinical faculty for the Division of Plastic Surgery at The University of Washington, serves as an as an associate editor for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Global Open and as a reviewer to additional top plastic surgery journals including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery,

Dr. Bailey is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has presented and won awards at several local, regional, and national meetings.
