Erik A. Magnusson, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in fracture care and foot and ankle conditions. He treats patients of all ages.

He received his BA in Biology from Loyola College of Maryland and returned home to Minnesota to attend the University of Minnesota Medical School, where he graduated Alpha Omega Alpha (highest honors). He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Washington and remained in Seattle to complete dual fellowships in orthopedic trauma and foot and ankle surgery. Through his fellowship training he gained expertise in the treatment of complex fractures and a full spectrum of foot and ankle conditions, including total ankle arthroplasty.

Above all, Dr. Magnusson finds great joy and satisfaction in helping his patients return to their activities following trauma or degenerative disease. He enjoys helping his patients understand their conditions and working with them to craft individualized treatment plans to meet their goals. He strives to find the right combination of non-operative strategies and operative interventions to improve each person’s pain and function.
