Overview

Ty C. Jones, MD, is a fellowship-trained primary care sports medicine expert who specializes in treating sports medicine injuries and conditions, as well as concussion management. He evaluates and manages treatment of tendon conditions, stress fractures, minor traumatic fractures, back pain, muscle strains, ligament sprains, and muscle contusions. He also has an interest in running and throwing injuries.

He specializes in helping his patients to perform at their highest level and also provides consultation regarding injury prevention, preparation for athletic pursuits, athletic prescription, sports nutrition, bracing, return-to-play decisions regarding acute illness, and more.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Jones enjoys swimming, cycling, running, hiking, kayaking, composing music, fishing, and wilderness photography.
