National Women Physicians Day falls on the same day every year, February 3rd. This day marks the birthday of Elizabeth Blackwell, who was the first woman to receive a medical degree in the United States. Dr. Blackwell was instrumental in the movement that helped gain equality for women in healthcare.
Today, we celebrate the dedication and accomplishments of female physicians everywhere. We would like to take this opportunity to extend a special thank you, to all our women physicians for their contributions and the exceptional level of care that they provide to our patients.
