What is Tenex?

Tenex is a minimally invasive procedure performed under ultrasound guidance in which Tenex microtip removes damaged tendon tissue that causes pain.  It is performed when conservative treatment such as rest, therapy, medications and injections have failed.

What can Tenex treat?

  • Tennis elbow (Lateral epicondylitis / common extensor tendinopathy)
  • Golfers elbow (Medial epicondylitis / common flexor-pronator tendinopathy)
  • Jumpers knee (Patellar tendinopathy)
