Overview

Position Summary

Proliance is one of the largest surgical practices in the country, providing excellent care at more than 100 centers throughout Washington State.  Many of our surgeries are performed at our own ambulatory surgery centers where costs are often lower and recovery times faster. Patients return home the day of their surgery to begin healing and rehabilitation and get back to doing what they love, faster.  Each and every associate has a crucial role as a part of our team focused on providing excellent patient care with high value for our patients, their families, employers, payers and our community.


Where will the student be expected to complete their work? 

  • This will likely be a hybrid experience, depending on the state of COVID in June and vaccination status, with in-person work being at our corporate office in First Hill.

Intern’s Title: Administrative Intern, Operations

Internship start & end dates:  June 14- August 20, 2022 (flexible)

This position will work within the operations space for both our Ambulatory Surgery Centers and Clinics. The Intern will need to be able to focus on several projects at once, completing deliverables in several departments including:

  • Supply Chain analytics
  • Human Resources
  • Business Development
  • Implementation of patient engagement tools
  • Bundle optimization/care pathways
  • Patient outcomes
  • Opioid prescriptions
  • Pursuing a Masters in Health Administration
  • Interest in ambulatory surgery
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Skilled in data analytics and visualization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with EHR preferred
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Passion for personal development and growth
