Overview

Position Summary

The Clinical Aesthetician delivers direct patient care assessment, education and services in a Medical Spa setting. Use of Sciton laser, Halo, CoolSculpting, derm abrasion equipment, micro needling, peels, topical skin treatments and promotion of clinical skin care products.

• Provide direct patient care facial services within scope of practice in an ENT-Head and Neck/Facial Plastics clinical setting
• Recommend and sell skin services and products to patients
• Deliver post-surgery services to Moh’s and facial plastics patients.
• Assist physician if required
• Communication with patients, in person and by phone
• Document patient visit and phone communications in health record
• Timely submission of charges for services
• Maintain equipment, follow daily duties as assigned
• Maintain inventory
• Interface with product vendors, negotiate offers and stay informed of new opportunities
• Take an active role in marketing the practice and clinical Aesthetic services.
• Actively make recommendations for fee schedule changes
• Maintain OSHA/WISHA Standards

Education / Certification/ Experience
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of a certified Aesthetician program
• Washington State license as Master Aesthetician.
• 3-5 year’s experience in the field of Clinical Aesthetics
• Experience with Sciton laser preferred
• Experience with Coolsculpting desired

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to organize, prioritize and work efficiently
• Working knowledge of an electronic medical record
• Ability to grasp new concepts and skills
• Honesty and integrity
