Overview

Position Summary

Proliance Physical and Hand Therapy is seeking self-motivated and energetic individuals to be a Physical Therapy Aide/Tech at our Mill Creek office. Our clinic is a great place to gain healthcare experience interacting with patients, Physical and Occupational Therapists in a fun and professional atmosphere. We provide training onsite for our aides, and in the past have helped numerous students gain entry into PT, OT, or PTA programs. Our hours of operation are 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

***Proliance Physical and Hand Therapy is providing a $500 Sign-on Bonus for this role***

  • Greeting and escorting patients to treatment areas.
  • Sanitize, organize, and maintain professional clinic atmosphere. Upkeep of department equipment and treatment areas.
  • Maintain and stock clean linen supply.
  • Conduct exercises with appropriate patients under direct therapist supervision (dependent on job training and level of experience).
  • Applying therapeutic modalities.
  • Assist with front desk operations including patient scheduling, collection of co-pay and co-insurance, and explanation of benefits.
  • Ordering, tracking, and stocking clinic and front office supplies. Assist therapists and front desk reception to facilitate optimal clinic flow and patient care.

• Strong interpersonal skills, which includes effective verbal communication.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work with a flexible clinic schedule.
• Shows initiative to clean and organize work spaces.

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science/kinesiology, biology, physiology or other life sciences strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to learn other software programs.
• Physical demands include squatting, lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs occasionally, and some repetitive upper extremity use.
